This handmade clock has a dial pasted with Japanese paper cut out in the shape of a Cherry blossom and coated with mineral pigment made by crushing coral and crystal.

The body of each Hanamokko table clock is hand carved on a lathe using a traditional technique called rokurobiki in Yamanaka, Kaga, Ishikawa.
Yamanaka has a more than 400-year history as a lacquerware production center. The wood is Zelkova, which has a beautiful grain and smooth texture. Please select one of the three available colors from the Wood Color option: Plain or Brown.
