About C-brain

Founded in 1994 in Kanazawa, Japan, C-Brain has been making handmade watches for more than 25 years.
We have been making clocks and watches with the idea that making something delicate and full of warmth can only be done by hand. We continue to make our timepieces with all our heart.
We will continue to make products that will bring comfort, joy, and pleasure to those who hold them in their hands.

Hanamokko is a brand launched in 2008 to produce wristwatches and table clocks that bring traditional Japanese materials and designs such as: Japanese paper, gold leaf, lacquer, and iwa-enogu closer to the user.

About Kanazawa

Kanazawa, where C-Brain is based, is a small city with a population of about 460,000 that has flourished since the Edo period, some 450 years ago.
The city centering around Kanazawa Castle is rich in history and culture, with many traditional gardens and buildings still remaining. Traditional arts and crafts continue to thrive in Kanazawa.

The Japanese paper used for the base of the dial, the gold leaf for the index and other details, and the wooden base of the clock are made by hand in Kanazawa and neighboring towns.
These products can only be made where traditional techniques still remain.
